Maintenance Commands (1M)
- cms_ctrl.pl - Start, stop the Storage Foundation Manager (SFM) Central Manager Server (CMS) processes.
- cmsf_ctl.pl - the agentlet driver, the script used to run periodic application discovery on SF Manager managed hosts.
- dbbackup - performs an online backup of the Storage Foundation Manager database
- gridcli - a Veritas Provider Access Layer (VxPAL) command-line utility to the Centralized Command Grid (CCG). gridcli calls the VxPAL agents that securely distribute files and run commands across a domain of heterogeneous hosts.
- migrate - converts standalone (unmanaged) Storage Foundation hosts to managed hosts. migrate also converts managed hosts to standalone hosts
- setup_vxaa.sh - a post-installation script used to configure the Veritas Action Agent
- sfmw - startup and shutdown script for the SF Manager Web application, Storage Management (SM) Web application, and Symantec Web Server.
- veaconfig - used primarily to assign security roles to SF Manager and VEA 3.3 users. It also allows you to view the identity and security settings for Veritas Provider Layer (VxPAL) agents.
- veainfo - provides information about the relationships between various VxPAL agents, Authentication Brokers, and authentication domains.
- vxalerttype - manipulates alert type information.
- vxdbms_start_db.pl - starts and stops databases managed with the Symantec Database Server (DBMS)
- vxdeploy - command-line interface (CLI) used for deploying (installing, uninstalling, configuring, enabling, disabling, and checking on the status) of Add-ons.
- vxdeploy_setup.pl - Perl command-line interface (CLI) used for setting the Add-on store base directory on the Management Server.
- vxdompackage - Command-line interface (CLI) used for upgrading (adding) or uninstalling (removing) SF Manager 1.1 binaries (patches) for each managed host. vxdompackage modifies Storage Foundation 5.0 and 5.0 MP1 hosts making them compatible with the SF Manager 1.1 central management server.
- vxfinger - displays information about the Veritas Enterprise Administrator (Java console) users connected to the Local Controller (vxsvc).
- vxgetinterfaceinfo - gets the set of interfaces that a user can access.
- vxguidgen - generates a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID).
- vxini - allows you to manipulate the contents of a SF Manager configuration file such as csf_resolv.conf
- vxinterface - adds or merges an interface formalization XML file with the master interface formalization file.
