Removing all packages and shared components from Windows hosts

After you uninstall Enterprise Reporter, some packages, directories, registry entries, and shared components remain. You can remove these, if desired.

Warning:

Other Symantec products may depend on these shared components. Only remove the shared components if you are certain that no other Symantec products depend on the components.

To remove all packages and shared components from Windows hosts

  1. Log on to the host on which you want to remove all shared components as a user with administrator-level privileges.

  2. Open the following directory:

    installer_location\win\command_central_enterprise_reporter\Support\CleanUp\

    where installer_location is one of the following:

    • The directory in which you unzipped the installer .zip file

    • The location of your DVD-ROM drive

  3. Run the following file:

    ERCleanup.bat
