Uninstalling Enterprise Reporter 5.1 from a Solaris host

Use Enterprise Reporter's uninstall script to uninstall Enterprise Reporter from a Solaris host.

Optionally, you can choose to remove all shared components when you uninstall Enterprise Reporter.

Warning:

Other Symantec products may depend on these shared components. Only remove the shared components if you are certain that no other Symantec products depend on the components.

To uninstall Enterprise Reporter from a Solaris host

  1. On the Enterprise Reporter Management Server, open an operating system console and log in as root.

  2. (Optional) If you want to remove shared components when Enterprise Reporter uninstalls, set the following environment variable:

    'export CCER_TOTAL_CLEANUP=1'

  3. Change to the following directory:

    /opt/VRTS/install

  4. Type the following command:

    ./uninstallccer

  5. To uninstall Enterprise Reporter, type y and then press Enter.
